In tunnels, you will generally find two types of signage :
Emergency call stations: The presence of an emergency telephone is indicated by two pictograms representing a telephone accompanied by the inscription “SOS.”
Firefighting equipment: This symbol indicates the presence of a fire extinguisher.
Our backlit boxes for tunnels are available in standard or custom sizes. The standard dimensions are as follows : 1150 mm high, 980 mm wide, and 360 mm deep.
Made of aluminum, they are covered with two Class 2 retro-reflective sides, ensuring excellent visibility even in the darkness of a tunnel. Lighting is provided by an LED tube or bulbs, depending on the model.
With an IP65 protection rating and impact resistance (IK09), these boxes are perfectly suited to tough environments, resisting dust, moisture, and mechanical impacts.
Each box is supplied with a wall mounting designed for tunnels. Once installed, the contents of the box can be accessed from the side, using a quarter-turn lock or stainless-steel latches.
The electrical connection is 230V. The wiring includes a blue wire (phase), a red wire (neutral), and a green wire (ground).
As an option, we offer the integration of a light source monitoring system, allowing real-time monitoring of the status of bulbs or LED tubes.
