It is placed on the road to warn of a danger and should ideally be accompanied by a smaller road sign specifying the nature of the danger.

Choosing the right retro-reflective film for your road sign

The performance of a retro-reflective sheeting plays a key role in sign visibility and overall road safety. The level of reflectivity directly affects how early drivers can detect the sign, particularly in low-light conditions.

This road sign can be supplied with two different grades of retro-reflective sheeting:

• Class 1 film : Offers visibility at distances of up to 150 meters. It is commonly used in urban environments or on roads where visibility conditions are generally good. Night-time visibility is more limited compared to higher classes.
• Class 2 film : Provides enhanced visibility at distances of up to 250 meters. Its micro prismatic (honeycomb) structure ensures superior reflectivity, especially at night. This option is recommended for higher-speed roads or locations with reduced visibility.
