Our flashing road sign is equipped with an infrared pedestrian detector, designed and manufactured entirely in our workshop. This in-house production capability allows us to offer an ultra-precise sensor that activates as soon as a pedestrian approaches the crosswalk. This technology guarantees optimal safety for pedestrians.
The two panels of the device activate simultaneously only when a pedestrian is about to cross. This helps to attract more attention from motorists, thus reinforcing the signage more effectively.
Comprising two square road signs with a blue background and measuring 700 mm (other sizes available), each road sign is equipped with Class 1 or Class 2 retroreflective film. Made of aluminum, they offer high robustness and optimal durability.
The detectors are particularly effective, providing wide coverage to detect a pedestrian within an area of approximately 1 meter by 2 meters around the sign. Installation is easy thanks to a post mounting bracket.
This kit also includes two solar panels for independent power supply. It is also possible to connect the system to street lighting or a 230V power supply upon request.
The entire kit can be mounted on a galvanized mast (for ground installation) or a pole (for in-ground installation). Please note that the mounting bracket is not included in this kit.
Finally, a programmable clock can be added as an option, upon request.
This road sign is a positioning sign, meaning it must be installed near the pedestrian crossing.
We recommend positioning the pole approximately 1 meter from the roadway and 0.5 to 1 meter from the pedestrian crossing.
