What is a lock chamber signal ?
A lock light is a light used to regulate maritime traffic in locks, in order to ensuring the safety of boats. This light is placed at the entrance or exit of the lock and serves to clearly indicate when it is safe to enter or exit.
When a light is green, it means that the lock is ready to receive vessels, the gate is open, and the water level is sufficient for safe passage.
However, when a light is red, access to the lock is prohibited. This may be due to a closed gate or suboptimal safety conditions, such as an incorrect water level or the lock being occupied by another vessel.
Visibility, efficiency and durability
This lock chamber light consists of an aluminum housing and two LED lights, one red and one green. Each light has 95 LEDs. An LED status control board is available as an option.
These lights are 200mm in diameter, but we can also produce them in a 300mm diameter. An aluminum visor frames each light.
The housing is vertical as standard and can also be made horizontally. It is mounted using two rails on the back of the housing. Power is supplied by 24 or 230 volts.
