30km/h road sign with LEDs

A custom-made road sign

Entirely designed and manufactured in our workshop, this illuminated sign can be customized to suit your needs.

You can choose:

• the size: 450 mm, 650 mm, 850 mm, or 1050 mm
• retroreflective film: Class 1 or Class 2
• symbol: speed limit, weight, vehicles… or any other symbol on request
• power supply: solar, public lighting, 230V
• options: sign with text of your choice, programming clock, vehicle and/or speed detector

Visible and resistant

Our illuminated signs consist of an aluminum housing, visible high-intensity LEDs, and a retro-reflective film for greater visual impact on drivers. The LEDs consume between 2 and 10W each, depending on the size of the symbol and the color of the LEDs.

A flashing control unit is integrated with automatic nighttime dimming. There are two mounting rails on the back of the sign.

What are the rules for installing a speed limit road sign ?

Speed limit road signs are placed in the immediate vicinity of the location where the regulation begins to apply.

Unless constrained by the site, the distance between the edge of the sign on the roadside and the roadway must not be less than 0.70 m.

The front of a road sign must be slightly inclined at an angle of 3 to 5° toward the outside of the road in order to avoid specular reflection, which can make the sign unreadable for a few seconds at night.
