When illuminated, it instructs pedestrians not to cross a lane reserved for vehicles operating regular public transport services (trams, trains, buses…).
The pedestrian pictogram remains continuously illuminated, while the word “STOP” flashes. The interval between two successive illuminations must be at least 6 seconds.
