Regulations on light signaling in tunnels
In tunnels, you will generally find two types of signage:
- Emergency call stations: The presence of an emergency telephone is indicated by two pictograms showing a telephone accompanied by the word “SOS.”
- Firefighting equipment: This symbol indicates the location of a fire extinguisher.
Bright and durable light boxes
Our tunnel light boxes are available in standard or custom sizes. Each box is made of aluminum and covered with two Class 2 retro-reflective film to ensure high visibility in dark environments such as tunnels. The backlit box is illuminated by LED tubes or bulbs.
With IP65 and IK09 protection ratings, it is highly resistant to external mechanical impacts, dust, and water jets.
Easy to install and control
Our tunnel light box is supplied with a 90° adjustable mounting bracket specially designed for tunnels. This allows you to mount the box from the top or from one of its sides.
The power cables are run through holes drilled in the aluminum box by you, depending on the position of the box. The power supply is 230V with a blue wire for (+), a red wire for (-) and a green wire for ground.
To monitor the status of the bulbs or LED tube, we can add an optional light source monitoring cell.
